The Exhibition Coordinator is a part-time position with the potential of becoming full-time pending further discussion. The Exhibition Coordinator oversees the planning and implementation of exhibitions and special projects in galleries owned and operated by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with Adobe Suite preferred. Experience with project management or Slideroom is helpful. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, patient, and able to manage difficult issues. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks/priorities. Calm demeanor and an interest and knowledge in the Visual Arts. Able to professionally deal with artistic temperaments. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in fine arts, art history, museum studies, or equivalent experience. One to three years' experience in professional gallery or museum work required.
