Job Title: ExpeditorJob Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Expeditor to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will support both the commercial and military sides of our operations, ensuring timely delivery of materials and components. This role involves managing past dues, communicating with suppliers, and utilizing ERP systems and Excel to track and report on progress.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure timely delivery of materials and components for both commercial and military operations.
+ Manage past dues and follow up on delayed deliveries.
+ Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve issues and expedite orders.
+ Utilize ERP systems and Excel to track and report on delivery progress.
+ Work closely with planners and buyers to coordinate material needs.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in an expediting or supply chain role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in purchasing or logistics.
Work Environment
You will work closely with planners and buyers, reporting to the MLM. The role requires effective communication and collaboration to ensure the timely delivery of materials and components.
