POSITION REPORTS TO:

Supply Chain Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

Maintains supply chain for ranges and auxiliary equipment

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proficient in MS Excel, Use of Email Communication

• SAP Experience and plus.

• Scheduled Mon-Fri. Additional work on weekends and holidays may be required.
• Creates schedules for ranges and auxiliary equipment
• Updates schedules each morning and throughout the day.
• Reviews and helps manage open po's and sto's.
• Tracks greige to arrival and through issuing.
• Schedules inspection tables.
• Creates priority lists.
• Updates business supply chain and customer service on delivery items.
• Completes physical inventory of chemicals and other raw materials.
• Completes any additional items assigned by supply chain mgr.
• Understand the environmental impacts and aspects of job-related activities. Follow established Valway and Milliken & Company guidelines concerning use of all chemicals. Comply with all Environmental regulations and Milliken Environmental Policies and Rules.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Production Manager/ Supervisor or Senior Production Manager as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to perform required duties

• Ability to use computer

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• GED or High School Diploma

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to read and write
• The ability to perform basic math calculations
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to comprehend written/verbal instruction
• Computer data entry skills
• Ability to adhere to all plant safety specifications
• Ability to work as a team member with little supervision
• Ability to use all machines, tools, and equipment listed below

1. Standing: Ability to stand while working 80% of day

including reading information from printed sources and

computer screens. Must be able to see objects +100 feet 100% of day

9. Cognitive: Alert. Able to make decisions, reason, and understand

information. 100% of day

WORK ENVIRONMENT/SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION

This job operates in a manufacturing facility. This position is a safety-sensitive position and regularly works around moving mechanical parts and powered industrial vehicles. Noise level is generally loud. Temperatures can be more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity level can be more than 98% for 100% of day.

SHIFT/WORK HOURS

Shift schedule will depend on open positions at time of hire and will be communicated with new hire paperwork. Weekends, overtime, and holidays are scheduled depending on business demands.
