We are currently hiring expeditors who will report to the Production Control Manager and will help support executing fieldwork as part of the Rolling Schedule Process within his/her Team.Duties Include:
- Assist the Work Week Manager and performs duties of the Work Week Manager during his/her absence.
- Work with appropriate managers to identify and resolve schedule or resource conflicts.
- Assist the Work Week Manager with building a resource loaded work window schedule that is both executable and reliable.
- Assist the Work Week Manager with preparing Locked-in Release/Resource Sheets for their area of responsibility.
- Participates in Work Window Meetings such as the POW, PODs, and Integration meetings, and corresponds with HMIS personnel as necessary when developing work week window plans for fieldwork.
- Help resolve conflicts and issues related to resources and seek guidance or assistance from Work Week Manager & Production Control Manager when conflicts related to resources are discovered.
- Evaluate impact to scheduled fieldwork due to absenteeism by field support personnel and request additional resources.
- Assist the Work Week Manager with re-deploying resources within the team when work activities finish ahead of schedule or are prematurely halted.
- Enter data regarding Schedule Adherence for support organization Metrics in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Maintain work package control for the Organization, route work packages to appropriate personnel for closure.
- Assists the FWS/First Line Manager (FLM) by: Ensuring all supporting documents are current within a Work Package, verification of material status
- Work with Organization FWS/FLM to forecast resource availability to assist the Work Week Manager in determining available resources to assign in each of the workweeks.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or 5 years of related experience. 3-5 years Hanford or other Government Contracting Experience Preferred.
