Description of the role:The Experience Automotive Warranty Administrator at Middletown Chevrolet will be responsible for efficiently managing and overseeing all warranty claims and processes. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of automotive warranty guidelines.Responsibilities:
- Review and process warranty claims from customers and suppliers
- Ensure accurate documentation of all warranty-related information
- Coordinate with service department and technicians to gather necessary repair details
- Follow up on pending warranty claims and resolve any issues for timely reimbursement
- Communicate with manufacturers and suppliers regarding warranty policies and procedures
- Maintain warranty claim files and records in a systematic manner
- Analyze warranty data to identify trends and suggest improvements to reduce warranty costs
- Ensure compliance with all warranty regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Automotive Warranty Administrator or in a similar role
- Proficient knowledge of automotive warranty processes and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately handle complex data
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Proficient in using computer software and tools for warranty claims processing
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training is a plus
