Job Summary: Middletown Chevrolet is seeking an Experienced Automotive Lot Porter to join our team in Middletown, Connecticut. This is a full-time, hourly position in the automotive industry. The Lot Porter will be responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the dealership lot, as well as assisting with other duties as needed. This is an individual contributor role, and the ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and have a passion for the automotive industry. Compensation & Benefits: - Competitive hourly pay - Health, Dental, and Vision insurance - Paid time off - 401(k) with company match - Employee discount on vehicles and services - Opportunities for career advancement Responsibilities: - Keep the dealership lot clean and organized by removing debris, garbage, and snow as needed - Drive vehicles to and from the service department and assist with other transportation needs as necessary - Assist in checking in vehicles and preparing them for service or display - Assist in maintaining and organizing inventory on the lot - Conduct visual inspections of vehicles for damage, ensuring accurate reporting and documentation - Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure all lot-related duties are completed in a timely and efficient manner - Other duties as assigned by management Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - At least 1 year of previous experience as a lot porter or similar role in the automotive industry - Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening EEOC Statement: Middletown Chevrolet is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
