Our Intensive Behavior Unit team is currently seeking a Clinical Intervention Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team!

Our people and programs deliver personalized, professional, evidence-based behavioral and developmental services to each participant, and peace of mind to caregivers that their loved ones are in the right hands.About the OpportunityUnder general BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) supervision, a Clinical Intervention Specialist uses the strategies of Applied Behavior Analysis to provide direct therapy for behavior reduction and skills acquisition to individuals unable to safely and effectively receive services in other settings. Duties & Responsibilities:

* Provide direct client services according to individualized client programming in a clinical setting

* Implement individualized Behavioral Support Plans under the direction of a BCBA in a clinical setting

* Maintain a variety of HIPPA protected patient records and files, including confidential client records and information

* Maintain physical environment, including but not limited to:

* Cleaning and organizing the service area

* Maintaining clean and orderly staff spaces

* Conducts 100% of scheduled sessions, unless time-off has been granted or the parents of the client have communicated to the clinical team that they would not like for the hours to be provided.

* Responsible for conducting subbing sessions for other clients to sustain the productivity margin if a session is cancelled by the family. Subbing sessions will fall within the employee's availability.

* Responsible for coordinating and conducting make-up sessions when canceling their own sessions.

* Additional hours or sessions may be assigned by the Clinical Leader and/or Regional Director.

* Implements individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Support Plans in response to the direction provided by the Clinical Director and Senior Clinical Leader/Clinical Leader and/or other clinical staff in order to improve the behavior and skill acquisition of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

* Travels to home and other community settings, as required, to deliver services.

* Renders completed sessions daily and writes thorough notes per CSD's cancellation policy when changes occur.

* Communicates schedule changes and cancellations to clinical team immediately.

* Participates in regular meetings and promptly communicates with Clinical Leaders via email and phone, regarding Treatment Plans and Behavioral Support Plans, family concerns and questions.

* Fulfills the timely completion of necessary clinical documentation and communication of:

* Daily Treatment Session Notes

* Daily Treatment Target Data

* Daily (If applicable) Behavior Data

* Monthly Session Plans

* Keeps updated with other site-related documents and current clinical reports for each child served.

* Remains current regarding new research, current trends and developments in special education and related fields.

* Attends staff meetings, in-services, trainings, and other meetings as requested.

* Additional job duties assigned

Requirements

About YouRequirements & Qualifications

* Proof of vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, and COVID - where mandated)

* Reliable transportation required

* H.S. Diploma or GED

* 1+ years of related professional experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders and/or other related developmental disabilities in a multi-disciplinary team setting (Preferred)

* Ability to physically hold and/or restrain clients, following Safety Care principles and techniques

* Basic concepts of child development and behavioral characteristics, particularly developmental disabilities (Preferred)

* Knowledgeable in behavior management strategies/techniques, data tracking, and interpersonal mentoring (Preferred)

* Proficient in basic subjects such as arithmetic, grammar, mathematics, and reading

* Sensitive to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population.

Physical requirements may include but is not limited to:

* Constant visual stimulation, including close vision, distance vision, reading, computer work

* Constant sitting; frequent up and down out of chair

* Constant use of telephone, speaking, listening

* Constant document handling, use of copier and fax machine, filing

* Frequent typing, use of computer

* Occasional walking around building

* Occasional bending, reaching, stooping, pulling

* Occasional lifting, carrying, moving of items up to 20 pounds

* Occasional walking to, bending to enter, sitting and using upper and lower limbs to drive car
