- 1 year experience as a personal care assistant, home health aide, professional caregiver. Certification (PCA/HHA) is a plus!
- Experience caring for dementia clients
- A valid driver license and insured automobile that is suitable for transporting clients.
- A high level of professionalism,reliability and punctuality
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned
Responsibilities:
- Provide caring companionship, conversation, and help with hobbies and leisure activities
- Transport and accompany clients to their appointments
- Assist with meal planning, shopping and meal preparation
- Supervise daily activities
- Light housekeeping
- Give medication reminders
- Collaborate with client's care team to provide client updates and important health changes
