As a CDL Driver with Mid-Atlantic, you will:
- Deliver Mid-Atlantic Waste Systems products to customers within the assigned area using a pickup, flatbed, and/or roll-off truck.
- Assist the sales department with the delivery of new trucks when needed.
- Properly handle and secure containers, parts, and equipment.
- Follow appropriate safety procedures while operating Mid-Atlantic Waste Systems Vehicles.
- Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered products and collect payment for services when required.
- Assist parts manager with shipping and receiving.
- Responsible for unloading stock equipment and parts when on-site.
- Assist the compactor department with the delivery and installation of equipment.
What are the qualifications that we're looking for?
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid Class A or B CDL License
- 2-4 years of professional CDL driving experience
- Must pass a DOT physical including drug screening
- Must have a clean driving record
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is preferred
- Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach
- Must be able to lift and move more than 50 lbs. without assistance
- Must be able to get into and out of various vehicles without assistance
