High-end custom upholstery workroom looking to hire experienced cutter and pattern maker to specialize in making cushions for all of the upholstered furniture we manufacture.
Primary responsibility will be supporting the furniture fabrication process by patterning, cutting fabrics and ticking, ensuring fit and comfort, and filling and finishing cushions. Responsibilities will also include fabricating window seat and bench cushions.
Must be experienced and comfortable working with all types of fabrics including large repeats, leathers, velvets, etc. but also flexible enough to learn the specifics of how patterning and cutting are done in our workroom.
Must be self-driven and collaborative, working with all workroom managers, upholsterers, fillers, and sewing machine operators to ensure deadlines are met and the product achieves the highest standards of quality and attention to detail.
