This role is essential in ensuring the proper installation, repair, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in various residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.   • Install fire sprinkler systems according to project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project drawings to ensure proper installation.
  • Perform pipefitting tasks such as cutting, threading, grooving, and installing pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Assemble and secure piping systems in commercial, industrial, and residential environments.
  • Conduct system testing and inspections to verify proper functionality and compliance with regulations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues during installation or with existing fire protection systems and implement solutions.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and handle them properly on job sites.
  • Coordinate with other contractors and trades on site to ensure efficient work flow and project completion.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients regarding project status and any challenges.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in fire protection systems is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics with precision.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools related to fire sprinkler installation and repair.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and equipment.
  • Good physical condition and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid state driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work overtime, out of town, or be on-call as needed.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
