Experienced Logistics Support RepresentativeCompany:Boeing Aerospace OperationsJob ID:000#######0Date Posted:2024-10-09Location:USA - Madison, MSJob Description Qualifications:Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking anExperienced Logistics Support Representative (LSR)to provide Logistics Support to support our T-45 team atV2XAerospaceMadison, Mississippi .The LSR will provide logistics support capability required to maintain the T-45 aircraft, components, and associated equipment as well as on-the-spot advice to the maintenance and supply personnel to resolve logistical problems incident to operations, troubleshooting, and general practices associated with the equipment. The LSR will coordinate with the Field Service Representatives as necessary to facilitate timely support to the T-45 fleet and the CLS provider.You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet our customers' unique requirements.Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer and/or management requirements.Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.Position Responsibilities:Current and directly related experience with, and knowledge of, the Boeing processes.Work directly with Boeing to ensure V2X supply requisitions are processed expeditiously and returned with accurate validity dates.Provide updated/actual Lead Times, Turn Around Times, and Estimated Delivery Dates, rather than estimated or historical information.Provide timely technical support on inactive parts, part number changes, part configuration, and superseded part issues.Identify items that require funding over and above the purchase price (tooling issues, design issues, non-recurring costs, etc.).Resolve any issues and provide customer reasonable resolutions.Play a key role assisting in identifying and expediting Boeing materials that create shortage situations including AOGs and AWP issues.Identify to V2X any issues associated with material planning, stocking, ordering, etc. that cause delays or inefficiencies with Boeing's ability to provide support to V2X Aerospace is support of the T-45 platform.Provide V2X with weekly delivery and RFQ status updates.Perform on-site Supply Chain Management/Logistics.Responsible for and maintain the site Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving, Issuing, Storage, Control, Reconciliation, Technical Research, and Customer Support operations.Implement and maintain all logistics procedures in accordance with customer requirements.Researches, identifies, and resolves customer supply support system inventory discrepancies.Collaborates with company organizations to identify and resolve system issues.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Madison, Mississippi.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, supply support, supply chain, and military knowledge.Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain and/or logistics and/or transportation logistics for a large company or as a third-party logistics managerMinimum 3 years of experience working with military aircraft platforms.At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work.
