Shift schedule/hours:
  • Monday - Friday, Day Shift
Compensation:
  • Starting wage ranges from $22.00+, dependent upon experience
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: You will be responsible for the operation and output of assigned production lines which include but are not limited to:
  • Utilizing a tow motor for the purpose of moving, storing, or organizing materials.
  • Follow Proper Use of Appropriate PPE & Equipment
  • Comply with Safety, Product Safety Standards & Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Actively Listen and Incorporate All Feedback from Leadership
  • Contribute to Sustainability Goals
  • Operate Bander and Scan Gun
  • Inspect, Clean & Organize Assigned Areas
  • Transfer Material to proper location using scangun
  • Unload and Identify scrap from trailers
  • Understand WIP area, racks, guillotine
  • Complete trailer inspections
  • Load/Unload scrap and finished good materials
  • Perform Daily PIV Inspections
  • Understands all Material types (Repro and Scrap)
  • Properly charge forklifts when needed
  • Visual inspection of materials for contamination
  • Teach & Train Material Handlers
  • Utilize Order Pick , DTR, BOL and Packing list shortcut
  • Input trucking moves into Uber Freight
  • Handle in-coming shipments validating paperwork
  • Maintains inventory records
  • Maintains Shipment records
  • Relabeling materials
  • Load trailers
  • Cycle counts
  • Generate PO's and SO's in DTR
  • Assist in all physical inventories
OUR SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities
  • Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes
  • Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism
  • Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible
  • Produce quality materials to be distributed to customers
  • Maintain production volume and efficiency
  • Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, requesting supervisor assistance when needed
OUR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing job experience.
  • Good basic math skills and knowledge of how to read a tape measure.
  • Possess basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrated skill in organizing work, taking initiative, setting priorities and sound decision making.
  • Possess logic, problem solving, and trouble shooting skills.
  • Deals effectively with company personnel on all levels ranging from production workers to top management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical Work and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.   • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand most of their 12-hour shift on a cement production floor. The team member frequently is required to use arms to reach and hands to handle or feel. The team member must repetitively lift and/or move up to 65 pounds. Must be able to routinely climb stairs and work safely around numerous hot surfaces and rotating equipment.
  • Team members are also required to frequently talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Team members in this role are exposed to seasonal temperature/humidity changes that can be near 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
