Description of the Role:Seeking an experienced Personal Caregiver to join our team at Senior Helpers - Lee's Summit. As a Personal Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and professional care to one of our Very Special clients in the Grain Valley, Missouri area. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others.Responsibilities:
- Assist client with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication reminders
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals
- Perform light housekeeping duties and assist with maintaining a clean and organized living environment
- Transport clients to appointments and social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the supervising nurse
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Personal Caregiver
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- MUST be reliable and punctual
- Experience with Parkinson's a plus
