Pay Range: up to $28 per hour depending on experience + performance-based incentives & spiffs. On average our unlicensed plumbers are making $60,000 - $85,000 yearly.
Job Duties:
- Removing, replacing, and installing all types of plumbing fixtures in residential homes, business buildings, and civic structures
- Diagnosing malfunctions, repair, and maintenance of plumbing and piping systems
- Reviewing building plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand the layout of plumbing systems and ensure accurate installation.
- Communicate with customers in a positive and professional manner
- Work with outside vendors to purchase material and equipment
- Train and lead apprentices and/or helpers
- Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements and applicable codes
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving history
- 3+ years of experience in residential plumbing
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work in all types of weather
- Ability to use tools of the trades, including but not limited to plumbing snakes, augers, drills, saws, hammers, measuring tape, levels, and screwdrivers
- Ability to train and lead plumbing apprentices and helpers
- Journeyman or Master Plumbing license is a plus
