What You'll Do
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and Project Managers
  • Track engineering design deadlines and deliverables
  • Oversee the construction RFI and submittal process
  • Lead formatting and processing project specifications as needed.
  • Coordinate specification administration across disciplines
  • Provide quality control on technical content in project specifications.
  • Coordinate workflow and document production
  • Prepare, develop and proofread project documents
  • Develop ability to prepare scope and fee for additional service requests
  • Develop ability to create project staffing work plans
  • Develop ability to assist with monitoring project schedule and budgets
  • Utilize tools within the project quality management plan (QMP)
  • Provide training for the project teams on processes
  • Develop administrative standards and operating procedures
  • Assist with new Project Coordinator mentorship
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in the building/construction industry as a Project Coordinator
  • Significant knowledge of the design and construction industry
  • Completion of CSI Constructions Documents Technologist (CDT) course preferred
  • Experience with Database Programs
  • Proactive
  • Team player
  • Reliable and flexible in style of work
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills
  • Power user of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe In-Design and Photoshop
  • Strong ability to anticipate the project needs and interpret input from the team
  • Location: This is a hybrid position located in New York City.
What We Offer
  • Hiring Base Salary Range: $56,500 - $73,500 annual
    • This position is eligible for time and a half overtime pay
The base salary is one component of PAE's competitive compensation package for employees. We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered.
