Our carpenters are versatile professionals who work on a variety of projects including interiors, exteriors, framing, and fine finish carpentry. We treat every property with the same care and respect as if it were our own, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service at an affordable price.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- All Aspects of Residential Remodeling: Perform framing, siding, doors, windows, soffits, and capping work for both exterior and interior projects.
- Layout and Blueprint Reading: Layout framing, rafters, stairs, decks, and porches from blueprints.
- Minor Masonry: Handle minor masonry tasks as part of the remodeling process.
- Roofing and Flashing: Understand roofing and flashing concepts for exterior work.
- Remodeling Projects: Tackle kitchen and bath renovations, basements, and cabinet installations.
- Tile Work: Complete tile work including walls, floors, and showers (Kerdi systems).
- Fine Finish Carpentry: Execute crown molding, paneling, and detailed finish work.
- Punch List and Problem Solving: Perform punch list tasks, problem-solving, paint touch-ups, and light flooring projects.
- Collaboration with Subs: Manage small tile bathroom projects from start to finish, working with subcontractors as needed.
- Customer Relations: Communicate effectively with clients and ensure a smooth project workflow, demonstrating understanding of residential remodeling steps and processes.
- Vehicle Potential: Potential to utilize a company vehicle for work purposes.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Prior experience in construction or a similar field is preferred but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to learn and improve.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
