Description of the role:The Experienced Service Advisor at Lamoille Valley Chevrolet is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients who bring in their vehicles for servicing. We offer a four day work week. This role requires a knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns.Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers to understand their service needs
- Provide accurate and detailed quotes for service costs
- Schedule appointments and prioritize work based on availability and urgency
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance
- Update customers on the status of their vehicles and any additional repairs required
- Handle customer complaints and conflicts in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate records of service history and transactions
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a service advisor in the automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for service scheduling and documentation
