Responsibilities:
- Efficiently perform work specified on repair orders, adhering to dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles and evaluate components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional services needed and provide accurate estimates of repair time.
- Execute repairs under warranty to meet manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- B-level qualifications, including expertise in diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair.
- Excellent dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in using electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Outstanding customer service skills and basic computer proficiency.
- Positive, friendly attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment and collaborate with others.
- Willingness to stay updated with new technology, repair procedures, and service specifications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
