We are looking for a world-class leader to grow our Oil and Gas Technical Division. This role will led a team of Test Engineers that help solve problems and propose solutions for top Oil and Gas exploration and refining companies.
The right individual will have a strong industrybackground and a proven track record solving complex engineer problems (Both in the field and lab)
Responsibilities
- Provide technical interpretation of client requirements at an expert level.
- Develop and validate methods, work instructions, & training for field & laboratory personnel.
- Provide pre-sales support for new business deals and post-sales support for the new projects assigned.
- Lead, develop, nurture and manage global customer relationships and drive strategic partnering initiatives to address unique business situations and complex technology needs.
- Research and independently develops solutions for non-routine inquiries.
- Assist as necessary in the preparation of price quotations, project proposals and tender documents in a timely fashion that meets deadlines for non-routine inquires.
- Approve or performs method modification, development and validation.
- Provide technical direction to commercial team and client services.
- Liaison with the Operations Manager, Laboratory Supervisors, and Client Services in response to complaints involving technical aspects including non-conformances, as well as participate in internal audits.
- Shall be required to provide technical presentations to clients.
- Operates to the highest standards of ethics
Qualifications
- Advanced Degree in a Science related program
- A Degree in Oil, Gas & Chemical Testing a plus
- 15+ years experience in technical guidance related to midstream Oil, Gas, & Chemical Testing.
- API / ASME Inspection Codes & Standards
- Knowledge of materials and testing standards (eg ASTM, NACE, ASME etc)
- Knowledge of corrosion & welding
- Knowledge of NDT processes and practices
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to engage clients and potential clients.
- Must be customer focused and quality driven
- Ability to travel as business needs dictate
