Trinity Rail is hiring an Expert Welder at our Jonesboro plant. Our products are an integral part of the supply chain that helps fuel our lives and our economy. The Expert Welder position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. As a member of the team at Trinity, you'll use jigs/holding fixtures to lay out pieces to be welded according to blueprints, layouts, schematics, or work orders and use manual/semi-automatic/automatic welding equipment to join, surface, fabricate and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials. Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and perform minor maintenance to equipment while acting as a welding subject matter expert. Responsibilities:What you'll do:

• Performs as Level 3 Welder
• Acts as subject matter expert
• Coaches & trains lower-level Welders
• Hand welds in all positions, groove and fillit
• Performs repairs to subassemblies for final product
• Oxy Fuel
• Carbon Arc
• makes welds to stainless and carbon steel may repair aluminum
• TIG welding (stainless & aluminum) performs full welds to subassemblies and to tank
• May conduct multiple NDE tests

• Minimum of 4 - 6+ years of related experience
