Location: Dallas, TX **Job Description**
The primary objective of the expo/food runner is to be the liaison between the FOH staff and kitchen, and to ensure that food is made correctly and carried out to the Guests promptly.
** Essential Functions**
* Maintains friendly, courteous temperament and a neat, clean professional image.
* Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees and purveyors to establish a cooperative environment.
* Has complete menu knowledge. Know and consistently perform all procedures for food plating and delivery.
* Keeps all working areas clean and organized.
* Restocks necessary supplies and brings all areas up to standard.
* Ensures all orders are correct.
* Garnishes food.
* Loads trays.
* Prebusses when delivering food and beverages.
* Discusses problem areas with manager.
* Performs open, shift change and/or closing duties.
* Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems.
**Requirements**
Servers are required to take care of guests are taken care of with 100% compliance to state and federal law as well as company standards.
** Qualification Standards**
* High School graduate or equivalent preferred
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Valid Food Handler certificate required
* Ability to work flexible shifts including, nights, weekends, and holidays
* Ability to work in a fast pace environment
* Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
* Must be able to pass all quizzes, tests and complete all workbook assignments.
* Must be neatly dressed and well groomed in clean, company approved attire.
* Must be able to read menus.
* Stands and walks during 6-8 hour shift; Reaches, bends, stoops and wipes.
* May be required to carry trays or supplies (10-30 lbs.)
