Summary

As an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure their safety and performance. Using advanced tools and equipment, you'll tackle mechanical and electrical issues with precision and efficiency, while following manufacturer and dealership standards. This role requires a skilled mechanic with a passion for solving problems and delivering high-quality service. Responsibilities

* Perform maintenance and repair tasks as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, adhering to dealership and manufacturer guidelines.

* Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, steering, suspension, and HVAC.

* Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues effectively.

* Conduct test drives and inspections to confirm proper repairs have been completed by the automotive technician team.

* Provide accurate labor and time estimates for repairs, collaborating with service advisors and customers.

* Clearly explain mechanical diagnoses and necessary repairs in simple terms to ensure customer understanding.

* Stay updated on new automotive technologies and best practices through formal training sessions and certifications.

* Inspect and test new vehicles, documenting findings to ensure all repairs align with mechanic and technician standards.

Qualifications

Qualifications

* Previous Dealership experience preferred but will train

* ASE and/or manufacturer certifications a plus

* Automotive background

* Teamwork skills

* Must have clean & valid driver's license

* Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
