  • Launch support of automotive exterior component parts in manufacturing plant
  • Excellent product knowledge of Exterior trim components (Bumper, Cladding, Spoiler, Door exterior trim, Front Grill, Garnish, Mudguard, Emblem )
  • Check the quality of components and identify defects if any
  • Find the root cause of product issues and provide temporary countermeasure
  • Work with cross functional team in the plant to find a permanent solution / design fix for ongoing issues
  • Create a CAD proposal in Catia V5 and conduct change management
  • Collaborate with key exterior system and plastic component suppliers and support overall vehicle development milestones and production build events
  • Responsible for technical documentation to include DFMEAs, DVP&R's Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive exterior / bumper components and subsystem
  • Knowledge of manufacturing technologies
  • Perform feasibility and packaging study
  • In-depth knowledge of Plastic tooling
