Role reports to: Director External Manufacturing
Location: Skillman, NJ (Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.)
Pay: $92,000.00 - $149,500.00
What you will do
The EM Site Lead is responsible for achieving specific performance metrics in areas of site execution, cost, service, quality, agility, and environmental health & safety while managing all aspects of manufacturing operations within assigned site(s), including product supply, logistics and distribution, capacity management, planning, capabilities assessment, inventory control, purchasing, quality, negotiation, and engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead cross functional teams to resolve product supply issues, driving results on a worldwide, regional, and local basis
* Facilitate execution of legally binding supply and service level agreements
* Ensure achievement of external manufacturing site attainment goals
* Identify and deliver cost improvement projects
* Develop manufacturing strategies to improve site performance, agility, and reliability of supply
* Identify and obtain resources to resolve issues
* Coordinate the execution of life cycle management and new product launches at external manufacturing sites
* Ensure customer commitments for product availability are met
Additional Responsibilities Include:
* Resolve quality/GMP issues
* Facilitate the implementation of LEAN methodology and continuous improvement initiatives
* Support the development and execution of business continuity plans, including the identification of qualified sources of supply and manufacturing sites based on product requirements and marketing strategies as they relate to manufacturing requirements
* Develop supply market knowledge within key processing technologies to enable rapid benchmarking and accelerated selection of alternate manufacturing sites
* Conduct on-going analysis of total end-to-end supply chain costs, propose and manage implementation of cost improvements, and develop plans that support implementation of directed pure buy or pure buy supply relationships
* Develop and implement actions to reduce lead-times and optimize inventory
* Conduct monthly capacity analysis with EM site and develop action plans to proactively mitigate risk
* Coordinate efficient implementation of product / process changes at external manufacturing sites, instruct personnel on the Company's vision and World Class manufacturing applications, coordinate EH&S assessments, as well as Kenvue Worldwide standards on labor, and address deficiencies
* Support the implementation of network strategy decisions to consolidate, on-board, or expand sites
* Facilitate root cause analysis, risk mitigation plans, and solution identification with internal and external business partners
* Promote and maintain professional communication standards to those inside and outside of the organization; interaction with suppliers is critical to this role
Qualifications:
* A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
* A minimum of 6 years related experience in any of the following areas is required: Supply Chain/Operations, Quality, External or Internal Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain Sourcing, and/or Supply Planning.
* Experience working with Manufacturing Operations in a GMP environment is required.
* An entrepreneurial self-starter with strong oral and written communication skills, comfortable communicating across functional levels is required.
* Training/experience with Lean Six Sigma/Process Improvement methodologies is preferred.
* Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills is required.
* Prior experience establishing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreement (SLAs) for critical vendors is preferred.
* Demonstrated effectiveness in establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships with internal and external business partners to meet tactical and strategic business needs is required.
* Demonstrated effectiveness leading and influencing cross-functional project teams is required.
* Prior knowledge of advanced planning systems such as ERP, MRP, and/or SAP is preferred.
* This position requires the ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

* Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $92,000.00 - $149,500.00. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
