Responsibilities Performs machine adjustments to maintain safety, quality, and production standards Meets established production requirements in accordance with production schedule Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure product meets specifications Performs first piece, periodic and finished product quality inspections including weight, width, length, and packaging to ensure conformance to standards; informs Production Supervisor and/or Team Leader of quality concerns Completes accurate production reporting and recordkeeping Troubleshoots equipment and process malfunctions; escalates concerns to Production Supervisor and/or Team Leader as needed Prepares, packs, and stages finished product for shipment Performs sample and/or trial operations as needed Maintains safe and clean work environment Observes all site safety, quality and production policies Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 2 years' manufacturing experience (blown film extrusion or film converting experience preferred) Mechanical and trouble shooting ability Availability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays as scheduled Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) Good verbal, writing, and basic math skills Ability to work collaboratively with others PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES Must be able to stand for continuously for 12 hours Lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly throughout during shift Twist / Turn repeatedly throughout during shift Bending/ Stooping / Kneel repeatedly throughout during shift Pushing/ Pulling/ Reaching repeatedly during shift Carrying 45+ lbs. repeatedly during shift Must be able to wear all required Personal protective equipment (PPE) continuously during shift.
