Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is working with a leading manufacturer who is looking to add an expeirnced Eyelet Tool Maker to their expanding team. Please apply now for immediate consideration!!The Tool Maker responsible for building, developing, setting up, testing, repairing, and adjusting tools, inspection gauges, and special fixtures for transfer presses and secondary department machines.This is a first shift opeing.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Build, develop, set up, try out, repair, and adjust tools, inspection gauges, and special fixtures for transfer and secondary department machines.Efficiently use all Tool Room equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, hardening and tempering tools, and special attachments.Develop complex jobs with minimal supervision.Teach and train inexperienced toolmakers and apprentices on complex jobs during the transition from development to production.Have adequate experience with all product lines, including Nuts, Sleeves, Domes, Retainers, and Legacy parts.Be experienced with all sizes of Baird and Asahi Seiki presses; experience with Samson and Waterbury Farrell is a plus.Meet specified production and quality standards for assigned jobs.Have a thorough knowledge of the functions and workability of tool steels and production materials.Perform operator functions as needed.Collaborate with Engineering to offer ideas for new tool development.Occasionally exceed equipment capabilities to achieve the necessary tolerances.Operate all machine tools and attachments with care to ensure accurate, quality work.Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly machine and work area.Keep necessary records and complete all required forms.Suggest changes in methods to improve operations.Store and retrieve plant tools, records, and drawings according to procedure.Properly handle and label hazardous materials and wastes as directed by the supervisor.Report any suspicious or hazardous conditions to a supervisor immediately.Follow all safety guidelines and ensure quality and safety by complying with all relevant company policies and procedures.Assist in maintaining clean, orderly, and hazard-free work areas.Work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter, and be detail-oriented.Perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or GED, with 2+ years of vocational training preferred.State-certified apprenticeship or equivalent.Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Eyelet Toolmaker.Expert knowledge of the manufacturing process necessary for making complex, precise adjustments to tools and equipment.#LI-TM1
