DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYThe Cashier is responsible for cash transactions in food and beverage areas. Performs all monetary transactions presented, adhering to all department and company policies, procedures, internal controls, and government regulations. Safeguards company assets and prepares all necessary paperwork. Is responsible to provide a level of service which is gracious, kind, and warm that provides an exciting environment and World Class Service by delivering Old-World Hospitality and Charm with our guests. The employee will have extensive menu knowledge, greet the guest, anticipate their needs, seat them and tender payments. Cashiering experience preferred. Must have a friendly demeanor and be able to communicate well with the public. Must be able to work in an intense and fast paced environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform required job duties. Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments. Must be clean, well-groomed, and have a professional appearance. Must have an optimistic outlook, proven track record of leading, inspiring, and proven track record of success in service excellence. Attention to quality details, great communication skills and know how to deliver excitement.REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIESIn addition to the other duties described herein, every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:Attend required training sessions offered by the casinoObtain required license(s)Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulationsResponsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobaccoKnowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member's departmentKnowledge of the property's programs to address problem gamblingConsult with the appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and Internal ControlsResponsible for taking the appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to the appropriate levels of managementReport any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any Team Member that they have knowledge of#dellago
