Starting Rate of pay: $18.28/hour
Shifts Available and Hours: Day Shift 6AM to 2:30 PM
Job Responsibilities:
* Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper safety guards are in place and notify supervisor or team lead of any safety concerns.
* Perform basic set-up on equipment.
* Read and interpret various gauging equipment, ranging from digital calipers, micrometers, protractors, and custom gauges.
* Visually inspect work piece before and after machining for defects.
* Maintain all records on job assignments in a correct and timely manner, on paper as well as in the computer.
* Perform ongoing Q.C. checks on the operation in process.
* Ensure that all scrap and waste material is disposed of properly.
* Understanding of safety, quality, and production processes.
Education and Experience Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Ability to life up to 50 lbs. as required.
* Minimum 6 months experience operating equipment such as mills, punch presses, deburring wheels, benders, saws, specialty machines, turning centers, milling centers, and hand tools.
* Must be able to read a tape measure.
* Ability to stand on concrete floor for a minimum of 8 hours/day.
* Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility for a minimum of 8 hours/day.
