DescriptionOverview:Assemble and fabricate vessels to client's specifications and applicable codes. Responsibilities:
- Layout pressure vessels and all related items following vessel fabrication drawings.
- Assemble and fabricate pressure vessels and all related items, according to client specifications and applicable codes.
- Ability to work well and help train helpers in the fabrication of pressure vessels.
- Must wear PPE at all times while in the shop. Ex: safety glasses, leather boots, gloves
- Comply with all Company Core Safety Rules, policies, and procedures.
- Report any unsafe conditions and practices to supervisor or safety manager immediately.
- Report all incidents/accidents/injuries involving the health and wellbeing of any employee to management immediately.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of vessel shop experience
- Proficient in reading and interpreting vessel fabrication drawings
- Knowledge of pressure vessel fabrication
- Must be able to tack weld, torch cut, plasma cut, and use and arc gouger
- Must have basic math skills
- Must be able to understand and follow direction from supervisor
- Must have the ability to run shop overhead cranes and rig heavy objects in a safe manner
- Must be able to work, stand for 10 hours, and squat and bend at the waist as needed throughout the day for a 5-day work week
- Have the ability to lift at least 50lbs
