Job Type Full-time Description Reports to: Soft Goods Supervisor Number of direct reports: 0 Travel: 0% Schedule: 100% On site Internal stakeholders: All staff External stakeholders: N/A Summary: This position is responsible for accurately cutting fabrics ready for manufacture of blinds, curtains and other soft furnishings. Main responsibilities:
- Carry out cutting of Dometic fabrics to a requested sizes and/or templates in a timely manner, as required by orders and cutting lists. Training will be provided as and when necessary to achieve this.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working area surrounding a large powered cutting table
- Rotate stock of standard fabrics
- The post-holder may be asked to take on different tasks as required, and all employees are expected to work collaboratively to support the overall goals of Dometic.
Requirements Qualifications and experience:
- Previous working experience in manufacturing sector with a factory environment - preferred, but not essential
- Good written and spoken English - required
