Job Summary American Equipment is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paint and Fabrication Helper to join our dynamic team in an industrial setting. This position involves assisting skilled painters and fabricators in various tasks related to the preparation, painting, and fabrication of equipment and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
  • Support skilled painters in applying paint and finishes to equipment and components, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Help in the assembly and fabrication of equipment parts, following specifications and blueprints.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in painting and fabrication processes.
  • Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies and materials.
  • Participate in training sessions to learn new techniques and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, painting, or fabrication environment is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well with others.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is preferred.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials as needed.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and techniques
Work Environment
  • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
  • In shop at assigned locations, follow Safety rules
  • Must be able to traverse the production facility
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Schedule: This is a permanent, full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Benefits and Bonuses:
