Hourly Rate: $18.20DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY Use hand tools to assemble fabricated parts and perform basic operations on manufacturing equipment/machines RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES • Perform various tasks including using hand tools to assemble fabricated parts at floor stations, perform basic operations on standard manufacturing machinery, and product packaging • Test and calibrate assembled mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications • Adhere to the calibration schedule for all tools used by the team • Be aware of all Quality requirements • Follow the Work Instructions and Food & Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines • Identify any documentation errors and bring to the attention of the Line Leader (i.e. Bills of Material, Quality documents, Work Instructions) • Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management • Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training • Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment • Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations • Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times • Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary REQUIRED SKILLS • Must be friendly, a team player, detail-oriented, and honest Must have the ability to: • Safely operate heavy equipment that is known to interfere with Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators and other electrical medical implants • Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment • Be cross-trained for multiple jobs within assigned work area(s) • Work under general supervision and direction from leadership team • Safely use hand tools and standard power tools • Operate machines safely with minimal supervision • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals • Use a hydraulic lift, hand tools, standard power tools, measuring tools, small table lifting device and electronic testing equipment • Read and comprehend work instructions • Push/Pull/Lift 50 lbs • Stand/Bend/Kneel Must have: • Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement • A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods • Good verbal and written communication skills REQUIRED EXPERIENCE • No experience required PREFERRED EXPERIENCE • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment using hand or power tools to assemble parts or product preferred • At least 1 year of hands-on experience operating machinery preferred • Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred PREFERRED EDUCATION • High School Diploma or GED preferred REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future DETAILS • This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive • This is a safety sensitive position • In exceptional circumstances, some of the physical requirements of this position may be modified or eliminated as a reasonable accommodation for a person with a disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act Pride Mobility Products®/Quantum Rehab® is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
