Fabrication Engineer (or Manufacturing Engineer with fabrication experience)Increase your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.(Location: Canterbury, Connecticut 06331 area)* Please inquire about salary, rate and job details.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Job Summary:· Work closely with manufacturing team to implement design, related to semiconductor fabrication processes and techniques.· Help create and manage device processing steps.· Design and develop semiconductor systems, software and modules.· Review and provide specification documentation.· Design, prototype and assist in production of custom communications electronics.· Work with new RF electrical hardware.· Investigate and experiment with new technologies.· Create technical specifications and test plans.· Write operational documentation with technical authors.· Problem-solve at the individual and team levels, including effective issue identification and troubleshooting.Qualifications:· BS/MS in Material Science and Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.· Candidate should have knowledge of, and experience with, semiconductor fabrication processes.· Knowledge of circuit boards, semiconductors and measurement equipment.· Knowledge of semiconductor testing process and device theory.· Software development skills.· Ability to create technical design documentation.· Ability to communicate effectively, relay tasks and set agendas.· Possess and exhibit a keen attention to detail for all facets of work.· Possess and exhibit excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with a strong desire to learn and develop new skills.· Plus skill - Experience with 3rd through 5th generation semiconductors (such as BJT, PIN, SOS).
