Call 1-855-RIDE-RED or Email webmaster.Ensure achievement of productivity objectives by allocating staffing resources, directing hourly team members, and supporting improvement initiatives to achieve company goals in a safe mannerwhile following policies and procedures.Essential Functions:Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, perform the following Production Coordinator responsibilities:Ensure Employee safety by ensuring all safety devices are in use, the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is always worn, and safety rules/policies/practices are followed.Report all accidents/near misses to the Production Supervisor, Production Manager, and Safety representative within 24 hours. Participate in the completion of the accident investigation/report.Ensure Employees within the assigned production department attend all safety-related training events.Coordinate and schedule Employee work assignments to achieve established production goals and productivity objectives.Ensure compliance with the Employee Handbook, Boler Code of Business Conduct, and all other policies and procedures.Conduct daily shift meetings to communicate safety, quality, shift expectations, production levels, delivery performance, overtime, upcoming events, etc.Execute daily staffing, monitor output levels to meet or exceed planned productivity levels.Motivate, provide clear direction, and set expectations for new and existing hourly and contract personnel.Maintain 5S initiatives within the assigned production areas.Maintain cooperation among departments and shifts, effectively resolve concerns, and notify the Production Supervisor of disciplinary concerns.Actively act as coordinator on opposite shifts to ensure Coordinator coverage as needed.Ensure that all hourly and contract personnel have the required training and tools to meet operational needs.Execute the training process and associated documentation.Assist with the update and maintenance of work instructions and training guides.Execute cross-training initiatives of the department.Manage assigned areas to meet published production schedules by utilizing QAD work order information to determine and prioritize daily schedules.Produce reports to inform the Production Supervisor of work plans to meet delivery of daily production.Reconcile any red tag/rework activity.Monitor inventory movement into and out of assigned work areas to maintain inventory accuracy.Verify end of shift tasks are completed, and tools/equipment are returned to designated areas.Communicate with other coordinators across departments to resolve production issues quickly.Drive to solve daily production issues. Continuously evaluate tooling methods, materials, processes, and equipment to develop and implement safety, cost, and quality improvements. Actively seek involvement of other Employees in this effort.Education and TrainingHigh School diploma or GED required.Minimum QualificationsOne year of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment required.Demonstrated leadership skills required.Results-oriented individual possessing analytical skills and demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize projects. Ability to execute multiple responsibilities, projects, and activities.Computer literate using windows-based software.Physical DemandsStanding and walking for extended periods of time.Computer work.Occasional lifting, bending, twisting, turning, push/pull activities.Environmental ConditionsExposure to manufacturing and warehouse environments.Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.Energetic - Ability to work at a high self-sustained pace and produce quality work and motivate others to do the same.Goal Oriented - Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result.Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.Leadership - Ability to lead a group in a common direction.Hendrickson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
