Responsibilities for the Fabrication Quality Assurance Technician includes but are not limited to:
Fabrication Quality Assurance Technicians are responsible for monitoring product quality. Fabrication Quality Assurance Technicians are stationed at the end of production lines where they inspect various pieces of meat for adherence to specifications. Fabrication Quality Assurance Technicians are responsible for knowing the product specifications for the line they are working on and filling out an audit report form. Fabrication Quality Assurance Technicians must also follow and help enforce plant Good Manufacturing Procedures and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures. Other Fabrication Quality Assurance Technician responsibilities include metal detector auditing and testing trim for E.Coli, via N60 sampling. Other duties as assigned.
