Job Description:
Qualifications:
  • Valid Drivers Licenses and clean driving record
  • 24 years of age
  • Truck driving experience, including a CDL Class A license
  • Florence, South Carolina based for the remainder of the year and be willing to return to Elon when the project is complete.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Safety Management, Developing Standards, Managing Processes, Inventory Control, Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information , Equipment Maintenance, Judgment
  • Warehouse/Distribution operations
  • Forklift / Equipment operator
Essential Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Maintains loading, unloading and distribution of materials using forklift or other equipment.
  • Reviews weekly delivery schedule and plans loads accordingly.
  • Verifies all loads for accuracy and safety.
  • Ensure all required documents are handed over to job team upon delivery of materials.
  • Openly communicates with management and job teams.
  • Maintains cleanliness and physical condition of shipping and receiving departments, inside and out.
  • Prepare fleet vehicles to be sold by removing tags and other license or branding items as directed.
  • Transport company fleet vehicles to/from service and repair facilities as needed.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents
