Qualifications:
- Valid Drivers Licenses and clean driving record
- 24 years of age
- Truck driving experience, including a CDL Class A license
- Florence, South Carolina based for the remainder of the year and be willing to return to Elon when the project is complete.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Safety Management, Developing Standards, Managing Processes, Inventory Control, Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information , Equipment Maintenance, Judgment
- Warehouse/Distribution operations
- Forklift / Equipment operator
Essential Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintains loading, unloading and distribution of materials using forklift or other equipment.
- Reviews weekly delivery schedule and plans loads accordingly.
- Verifies all loads for accuracy and safety.
- Ensure all required documents are handed over to job team upon delivery of materials.
- Openly communicates with management and job teams.
- Maintains cleanliness and physical condition of shipping and receiving departments, inside and out.
- Prepare fleet vehicles to be sold by removing tags and other license or branding items as directed.
- Transport company fleet vehicles to/from service and repair facilities as needed.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents
