We're looking for a skilled **Shop Manager** to join our team at our state-of-the-art fabrication facility in **Memphis, TN**. If you're a strong leader with hands-on experience managing welders, fabricators, and industrial processes, this is the opportunity for you to make a direct impact in a growing company that creates custom industrial solutions for a variety of industries.

### About Us:We are a leading fabricator specializing in custom industrial solutions for businesses that manufacture wood products, including cabinets, furniture, and dimensional lumber. We build advanced pneumatic conveying systems designed to transfer raw materials, like plastic resin, food components, and waste materials such as sawdust. We also design and manufacture a proprietary line of blowers, valves, and separators, which we incorporate into most of our projects. Our team is integral in fabricating pipe, fittings, hangers, and stanchions to meet our clients' unique needs.

Projects typically range under $1,000,000 in value, and our timeline for configuration, fabrication, and installation is generally a minimum of three months.

### Position Overview:As the **Shop Manager**, you'll oversee a talented team of welders and fabricators, manage shop operations, and ensure quality control throughout the fabrication process. You'll be responsible for the daily management of the shop floor, ensuring that we meet project deadlines, maintain high-quality welding and fabrication standards, and that safety protocols are followed.

**Key Responsibilities:**- Lead and manage a team of welders, fabricators, and shop staff.- Requisition materials based on job drawings and production requirements.- Assign tasks and manage work distribution to ensure optimal workflow.- Oversee welding and painting quality to ensure projects meet the highest standards.- Coordinate with corporate resources to ensure safety standards are met.- Manage facilities, process maintenance, and building/grounds upkeep.- Recommend and implement capital and process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

### What We're Looking For:- Proven experience in shop management, particularly in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.- Hands-on knowledge of MIG welding and steel plate fabrication (primarily 3/16 or less).- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.- Experience with quality control in welding and fabrication processes.- Knowledge of safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment.- Strong organizational and communication skills.
