Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGeneral Laborer - Supporting FabricationLocation: Kentwood, MichiganWage: $14.00 to $16.00/hr. Depending on experienceShift: First Shift 6:00AM-4:30PM Mon-FriPOSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a dedicated and motivated General Laborer to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will assist in various fabrication processes, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the production of high-quality products. You will be responsible for tasks including material handling, equipment operation, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Ability to read a tape measure- Experience with power tools; to kit/cut aluminum pieces for welding - Maintaining a clean workspace - MUST HAVE reliable transportation- Good communication, ability to work as a team, and great attendance EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:Follow safety expectations set by company safety policies.Able to lift 50 pounds or more throughout the workday.Cooperative & agreeable listener who gets along with others and enjoys being helpful.A working Knowledge of windows and operating systems is a plus.Team-life productsAbility to stand for a long time.Why work for Qualified Staffing? 1.
