Job Description:

They seek an experienced Fabrication Technician to join their team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG and stick welding, fabrication, a knowledge of mechanical assembly with a willingness to do a variety of jobs outside of welding. Experience in machine building, pipe fitting, manual lathe, electrical work or crane experience is a plus.

Fabrication Technician Responsibilities:

  • Welding and fabricating a variety of industrial components and structures using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
  • Building industrial machines with electrical and mechanical competency.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate and precise welding.

Fabrication Technician Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in production as a Welder or Fabricator
  • Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to pass a welding test.
  • Must have a driver's license.
  • Must be willing to travel.

    The fabrication technician position requires about 25% travel. They offer $45.00 per diem pay, paid travel time, and company vehicles for both local and overnight travel. The company arranges hotels, rental cars, and flights at company cost.
