Job Goal: A fabricator is responsible for fabricating, positioning, aligning, and fitting parts of structural metal products. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing parts according to blueprints using basic welding symbols.
- Read job travelers and interpret blueprints.
- Complete production records using a computer format to maintain cost, efficiencies, inventory, and integrity.
- Ensure proper cleanliness of the press, workstation, and immediate press area by following good housekeeping practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Knowledge of basic welding, Mig (GMAW) Welding required.
- Ability to follow directions and get along well with others.
- Outstanding punctuality and attendance required.
- Ability to read and understand a tape measure, standard and metric required.
