Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Fabricator to join our team. Ideal candidates are self-directed, quality-minded, and take pride in their work. The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment. Duties: Including but not limited to: •Operate various machines such as auto saw, shear, ironworker, press brake, CNC plasma table, laser jet, water jet, and tube bender. •Program and layout using CNC nesting software (preferred). •Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication tasks. •Accurately record inventory transactions and labor times. •Utilize SAP to locate inventory levels. •Demonstrate internal motivation to master equipment such as laser, waterjet, and brake press. •Perform MIG/TIG welding; certification preferred. •Continuously look for ways to improve processes and document the savings. •Collaborate with the team to develop a long-term vision for the growth of the fabrication department. •Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to ensure steady workflow. •Uphold a quality mindset in every task performed. •Support and implement 5S program initiatives and organizational goals. •Follow and support quality and environmental health and safety (EHS) policies. Qualifications: •Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a fabrication or job shop environment. •Ability to operate machinery as listed above. •Blueprint reading skills required. •Familiarity with programming and layout using CNC nesting software is a plus. •Basic understanding of inventory management systems, particularly SAP. •Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment. Physical Requirements: •Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to operate machinery. •Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly. •Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and depth perception. Work Environment: •Regular exposure to metal chips, liquid coolant, and moving mechanical parts. •Noise levels range from moderate to loud. •Safety precautions must be followed to ensure a safe working environment.
