Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Fabricator to join their team. As a Fabricator, you will be part of the production team responsible for the fabrication of commercial aluminum doors and frames. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication or construction, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Job Title: Fabricator

Location: Roselle, IL

Pay Range: $20.08 per hour

What's the Job?

• Measuring of aluminum extrusions to be cut for fabrication
• Assembly of cut aluminum and hardware into doors and frames
• Check material against orders and visually inspect incoming materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Actively engage in safety of self and others at the facility, including holding customers and contractors responsible for best in class safety
• Produce a quality product with attention to detail
• Ensure orders maintain internal schedule to keep pace to be on time to customer
• Follow directions from manager and functional lead to complete daily tasks
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities as needed

What's Needed?

• 2 or more years of fabrication or construction experience
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Ability to use power tools including electrical, hydraulic and air powered industrial machines
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
• Bilingual and the ability to communicate in both English & Spanish

What's in it for me?

• Competitive pay rate of $20.08 per hour
• 40 hours with OT as needed; M-F
• Start at 6:30AM (2-10 min pd breaks & 30 min lunch) – 3:30/4pm; if OT needed they may start at 5:30AM
• Good company to get in with; Union Shop – if hired, will be expected to join union (pay is union scale, really good benefits)
• Several workers nearing retirement so expect openings
