Responsibilities for this job include: -Build and fabricate custom signage using various materials, with a primary focus on metals (including aluminum) and welding processes. -Master the art of aluminum welding to create durable and precise signage components. -Work with a variety of materials such as metals, plastics, and composites to meet the design specifications. -Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical plans to determine project requirements. -Plan and execute different stages of the signage fabrication process, ensuring each stage aligns with project timelines and quality standards. -Skillfully use and maintain basic hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment essential for fabrication tasks. -Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment to ensure the well-being of all team members. Qualifications for this job include- -Prior experience in fabrication, welding, metalwork, or related fields is essential. Experience within the sign industry is a plus but not required. -Ability to use basic hand tools such as drills, grinders, saws, and precision measuring instruments. -Ability to master aluminum welding -Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings. -Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during the fabrication process. -Welding certification is preferred but not required.
