Our Fabricator configures and operates mechanical machines including but not limited to Break Press, Rolling Machines, Mechanical Press, Drilling and Boring, Shearing and Cutting Machines, equipment to manipulate or shape steel and aluminum materials used in manufacturing operations. Please note that shift hours are Mon - Thu 7am - 5:30pm with additional overtime. Wage Range: ($18.75 - $25.50) What we offer you:

- Perform and abide by safety policies and procedures while performing tasks and other related assignments.
- Review specification documentation and information related to assignments to assure product is manufactured to customer specifications and MAC quality standards
- Perform daily custom assembly tasks within designated time requirements.
- Perform, understand, comprehend, and communicate basic math functions primarily related to measurement.
- Blank, bend, punch, form, etc., on a variety of materials, based on blueprints and other instructions.
- Configure equipment and calibrate gauge settings, recognize condition of dies, load materials onto the equipment, feed material through machines, and/or position and remove parts from the machines.
- Keep a record of number of pieces made and of routine equipment maintenance performed.
- Read work schedule to ascertain production information, such as size, type, and quantity to be processed.
- Communicate issues of concern and any other pertinent information which effect the productive completion of quality product, schedule of product and safety to Supervisor(s)
- Clean keep organized the area in which you work during and at the end of the shift.
- Organize and restock needed parts and materials.
- Assist other employees, as needed and instructed.
- Perform all related duties as assigned by Supervisor(s)

Education and/or Experience
- Experience in tractor trailer building or knowledge is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing related field is preferred.
- Mechanical experience is preferred.
Physical Demands
- Ability to see details at close range while reviewing inventory information
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, and control mechanisms of Forklift equipment
- Ability to grasp and manipulate controls of Forklift Equipment
- Ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position
- Demonstrated ability to successfully maneuver, lift, and climb, in a similar or same work environment as required for the position or job duty
- Ability to push, pull, and lift various materials including aluminum, steels and parts
- Ability to successfully maneuver, lift, climb, bend, kneel, and stoop
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Position Tiers:
- Tier 1: Employees in this tier are new to the position. Employee is under direct supervision as they learn the skills and duties of the position.
- Tier 2: Employees in this position have developed the skills required to perform the job. There is supervisor involvement checking completed work for quality.
- Tier 3: Employees in this position have mastered the skills required to perform the job. The individual does not need direct supervision and is responsible for training new employees in the department.
