Job DescriptionPRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fabricate complex custom production machinery per print, sample, and/or verbal instruction.
- MIG welding experience with the ability to pass a weld test on each. Certification is preferred but not required.
- Read blueprints and create jigs and fixtures for weldments
- Fabricate and install new equipment
- Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
- Troubleshoot equipment; isolate cause of problem
- Install equipment including basic anchoring, rigging, conduit, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Utilize safe work habits
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
- Work on assigned projects
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
- MIG welding experience with the ability to pass a weld test on each. Certification is preferred but not required.
- Willing & able to work overtime as required.
- Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.
- Lifting (weights up to 50 lbs.) regularly
