DescriptionLandoll Company, LLC in Marysville, Kansas is looking for full time Fabricators in our Marysville KS location. Set up and operate metal fabricating machines, such as shears, saws, drill presses and presses to cut, bend, form and drill holes in raw material work centers. Set up and operate traders and rolls to bend, form, thread rods or straighten metal plates, sheets and structural shapes according to print specifications. The qualified candidate will be able to read a tape measure/blue prints, complete simple shop math, have mechanical aptitude and will demonstrate a basic knowledge of fabrication processes, machines and tooling used to fabricate parts and plant safety. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. - Working in a safe manner will be demonstrated at all times. Employees are expected to comply with all safety requirements set forth in the corporate safety manual. - Attendance is considered an important factor. At all times the individual will be required to adhere to Landoll Corporation's attendance policies.
- High quality work and prevention of quality problems must be demonstrated at all times.
- Good housekeeping. Keep area clear of trash, dirt, banding, pallets, etc. Keep tools orderly.
- Responsible for filling out Continual Improvement Request (CIR) Form when applicable.
- Select, position and secure dies, blades, drill bits, and fixtures on to machines using rule, square, shims, templates, and built-in gauges. Some departments would also require ability to select, position and secure cutters, taps and thread chasers.
- Position and clamp stops, guides and turntables.
- Proper use of PCC list (also known as dispatch list or work center work list).
- Read, produce from and interpret drawings, prints, and specifications for self and others.
- Based on specifications, shop order, work instructions and supervisor instructions follow machine set up, production method and sequence of fabrication processes.
