Description:Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SIA) is currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Consultant to fill a position in the Management of Aging Piping (MAP) group, where the successful candidate will be the product lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in performing Flow Accelerated Corrosion (FAC) analysis and evaluations. The objective of the FAC program is to predict, detect, monitor and minimize degradation in single and two-phase flow piping (safety and non-safety related systems) to prevent failures while enhancing plant safety and reliability. The desired individual would be an experienced and established FAC SME that would be able to provide direct support to sites in the nuclear fleet and support other areas in the group and Nuclear Business Unit as needed.Primary Responsibilities:
Technical Lead: Serve as a SME in FAC. Diagnose and troubleshoot FAC related issues and challenges, taking full responsibility for the technical aspects of projects and providing recommendations to clients for resolving identified deficiencies. The individual will work with clients to identify and prioritize needed inspections and make recommendations on the replacement scope of critical piping. Engineering Expertise: Apply diverse engineering knowledge to both emergent and planned FAC challenges, assessments and mitigative strategies. Business Development: Develop priority lists of prospective clients; organize and conduct presentations to individual and groups of prospective clients. Develop new leads and project opportunities with clients. Contribute to proposals for project development and scoping. Team Development: Proactively train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and contributing to the continuous enhancement of technical project delivery methodologies and procedures. Technical Resource: Provide expertise in developing inspection plans, data analysis and program support/management. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following areas: - Flow Accelerated Corrosion (FAC) and Buried Pipe Integrity Programs

- Aging Management Program (AMP) Requirements
- Technical and administrative management of projects
- Proficient in writing and reviewing technical reports and proposals, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 10% or more, upon requestExperience/Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical, Nuclear Engineering or similar discipline
- Graduate level Engineering degree desired
- MBA degree desired
- Professional Engineering (PE) Licensure or ability to obtain PE license desired
- 10+ years of related engineering experience in the capacity of FAC Program owner or industry expert
- Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria
- Broad understanding of BWR and/or PWR systems and familiarity with proper remediation tactics.
- Ability to interpret codes, regulations and practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft office applications, including Word and Excel
- Be willing to learn skills outside of major specialty of FACCompetencies:

- Equally effective working independently or in team environment of technical experts and ability to work with all levels of staff and managementThe expected salary range for this role in San Jose, CA is $129,840 to $194,760 annually. The expected salary range for this role in Denver, CO is $109,760 to $164,640 annually. Exact pay will be commensurate with experience.Structural Integrity Associates, Inc.
