Job Description:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Facades Project Manager is responsible for the coordination, development, and overall management of Wells projects throughout the entire lifecycle of the Facades project. This Position serves as the point of contact of Wells with our clients and collaborates with various internal departments to ensure positive Client experiences on all projects post award. The Facades Project Manager will report to the Vice President of Facades. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaboration and work with the Facades preconstruction teams to ensure acquisition and execution of all Facades projects to meet Wells financial and strategic goals.
  • Lead the coordinate and communicate with Clients to ensure all required Client milestone activities are achieved, including but not limited to, Client contracts, subcontracts/supplier agreements, financial project requirements, Client and Wells schedules, construction/Permit documents and submission and return of approved submittals and shop drawings.
  • Thoroughly review Construction Documents and communicate identified risks, constraints, and constructability concerns while collaborating with Contracts department on contract reviews and negotiations particularly related to price, schedule, and scope.
  • Manage and coordinate production and supply chain requirements with all internal and external suppliers to ensure project success.
  • Identify risk and manage resolution with internal and external team stakeholders.
  • Notify and work with internal Management Team and Legal Counsel in responding to matters involving Client payment issues or complaints, including but not limited to those related to project delays, quality defects or other charges.
  • Conduct weekly evaluations of cost reports, aging, and job cost/billing forecasts with appropriate departments. Collaborate, develop, and lead action plans if necessary.
  • Ability to participate in job site project meetings along with safety and quality audits of Wells scope of work.
  • Represents Wells at client functions and industry events.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, or related field preferred.
  • Five (5) years of Project Management experience; or related construction experience.
  • Must have organized interpersonal communication skills to interact with colleagues and personnel from various backgrounds.
  • Travel expectation- 50%
  • Elevated level of organization and strong multi-tasking skills
  • Must be able to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Must be able to lead a team with respect and dignity.
  • OSHA 30 training certification (will be provided)
  • Must be motivated and self-driven.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other management software.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Construction knowledge and comprehension of all trades required on a project.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for typing, filing, and using office equipment.
  • Visual acuity and ability to read small print.
  • Hearing acuity and ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to lift and move office supplies and equipment.
  • Mobility and ability to move around the office as needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Minimal risk of exposure to unusual elements.
  • Minimal risk of safety precautions.
  • General office environment.
  • Intermittent field / jobsite visits will require safety precautions, which may coincide with exposure to harsh weather.
