Program: Strengthening Couples Program Position: Program Facilitator & Recruiter Reports to: Strengthening Couples Program Manager Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours/week POSITION DESCRIPTIONFamily Services of the Merrimack Valley is seeking two full-time (40 hours/week) Facilitators for its Strengthening Couples Program. The goals of the Strengthening Couples Program are to improve relationships, parenting and economic stability skills among low-income couples in Greater Lawrence. The Strengthening Couples Program Facilitator will co-facilitate evidence-based healthy marriage and relationship education curriculum workshops and provide individual case management to participating couples. DUTIES INCLUDE
- Responsible for the enrollment and recruitment of participants of low-income couples who are rearing children under the age of 22 in Greater Lawrence and Haverhill.
- Co-facilitate implementation of evidence-based PREP 8.0 healthy marriage and relationship education curriculum with fidelity.
- Co-facilitate implementation of evidence-based Parenting Wisely parent education curriculum.
- Coordinate support services and implementation logistics to facilitate attendance and participation.
- Collaborate with the Case Management team, Data Manager and Employment and Financial Coach to coordinate services.
- Collect and input all required client output and outcome data as well as document and track all program operations.
- Coordinate curricula make-up sessions and other activities with program staff to ensure successful program completion.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in related subject matter or equivalent comparable work experience.
- Minimum of three years' experience facilitating group programs and working with low-income, vulnerable families.
- Verbal and written fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Experience and/or aptitude in conducting group presentations to any couple who are in a romantic relationship and are rearing children under the age of 22.
- Experience and competency working with diverse families and cultures.
- Effective verbal and written communication, multi-tasking and public speaking skills.
- Ability to work 3 evenings and some Saturdays required.

Desired Qualifications
- Responsible individual capable of working independently as well as within a team structure.
- Prior experience with strengths-based?assessments and?Individual Development Plans.
- Prior experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community.
- Experience working collaboratively with state agencies, child and family-serving organizations, schools, health care providers and other community agencies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong client engagement skills.
- Computer literate in Microsoft products with the ability to learn new software applications.
- Knowledge about the Lawrence community is desirable.

- This is a 40 hour per week, non-exempt benefited position with a pay range $22-$24 per hour, commensurate upon experience.
